Vinyl tent material is resistant to water and dirt.
We used this material and a method that prevents seams at the bottom to create a gusseted tote bag that can be used on dirty ground at campsites, in snowy mountains, or on beaches. However, some water may penetrate through the side seams, so we call it "slightly waterproof."
