A tote bag for road trips
JETMINMIN always offers gender-neutral items, but this tote is somewhat masculine.
When considering both the inner aspect of masculinity and the outer aspect of muscle mass and physique, it's a fact that there are clear differences between men and women. In terms of styling, what works for men is slightly different from what works for women. I'm writing this elaborately for a reason: in an era that requires various considerations, it's to make it easier to mention the names I'm about to list.
Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, De Niro, and Pacino don't carry shoulder totes. In their movies, they almost always hold a well-worn leather Boston bag with short handles in their large fists. Boston bags are horizontal, and they suit their handsome silhouettes very well.
I've tried making such cool bags, but none of them turned out well, and they all ended up being discarded.
JETMINMIN has a tote bag called "BALLOOON!". The 65cm wide version is quite large, and if you fill it to the brim, it's hard to carry.
If it's too big, it's inconvenient. And if a couple is traveling by car, something a little smaller would be fine.
So, we started developing the "BALLOOON!-65-LO", which is 10cm lower than the regular 65 size...
While drawing the pattern, I realized something. This might just be a substitute for the cool Boston bag I've always wanted to make.
Gene Hackman might not carry this, but Serge Gainsbourg might. Alain Delon might carry it, and Ewan McGregor might too. It's just a slightly different type of cool.
I, who admire cool guys, want to use this too. When checking in at a hotel lobby, I want to casually drop it on the floor with a "thud."
It would also look good to carry it out to the parking lot after checking out and drop it into the trunk of a sedan with a "thud."
More importantly, I want to travel slowly. It would be nice to fly to Kyushu, rent a car, and drive all the way around.

Made from 12.7 oz Hickory denim from Okayama for the body, and 13.5 oz organic cotton denim from Okayama. HICKORY-A has a white zipper. If you prefer a black zipper, please let us know when ordering. Due to the characteristics of the hickory fabric, the binding of the opening will be wrapped on the reverse side, opposite to canvas, so the JETMINMIN woven label, which is usually attached to the opening, will be on the side rib.

KIBI-LEOPARD
Cotton back satin fabric woven in Kibi no Kuni, Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. The pattern and color may vary depending on the item.
For canvas products, we cut and sew the canvas fabric after washing and naturally shrinking it once, and then deliver the finished product after washing and naturally drying it again to make it blend in and create a well-worn look.
Due to fabric shrinkage and washing wrinkles, you might feel like it's "wrinkled like a used item even though it's new." The wrinkles will naturally stretch out and blend in as you use it. Thank you for your understanding.
For washing, to be environmentally friendly, we use a small amount of laundry soap and no fabric softener, then air dry.
■REPAIR SERVICE
No matter how sturdy an item is made, long-term use can cause the fabric to fray, or pets might play with it or it might get caught on something, causing tears or holes that make it unusable. As long as you enjoy using our fabric products, we offer a paid repair service to help you use them for as long as possible. You can send us an email with images of the damaged area, and we will provide a repair estimate. (Exclusions apply to some products; we may decline repairs depending on the extent of damage or if the fabric has reached the end of its lifespan.)
■WASH! WASH!
Fabric products require washing. Dirt that you don't usually notice can accumulate bacteria by absorbing sweat and moisture, negatively affecting the fibers. Weakened fabric can easily tear or get holes from friction or getting caught on something. To use products for as long as possible, regular washing and rotating several items instead of using the same one every day are important.
All JETMINMIN fabric products can be washed at home. When washing, use laundry detergent, hand wash, or use a net if machine washing, and rinse thoroughly. Since odors can be difficult to remove from fabric once they set in, please avoid using scented fabric softeners. Using hot water or a dryer can cause the fabric to shrink, so always use cold or lukewarm water. *Colors may bleed, so wash with similar colors or separately from other items.
