A lightweight, foldable, slightly waterproof tote bag made from Tarpaulin sheet (commonly known as blue sheet).
Tarpaulin sheets are strong against water and dirt, as they are used for protection at construction sites and as rain covers during disasters.
We use this material to create a gusseted tote bag that can be used on dirty ground at campsites, in snowy mountains, or on beaches, by making the gussets without seams at the bottom. However, some moisture may enter through the side seams, so we call it "slightly waterproof."
The elastic cord on the loop is convenient for folding. This greatly expands its uses, from leisure activities like camping, beach trips, and snowy mountain excursions, to eco-bag use for supermarkets and seafood shopping, as well as outings on rainy days, location shoots, and more... You might not need any other tote bag.
When carrying many items, you can hook the elastic band for folding onto the center button to keep the opening closed. The buttons are from Swedish military tents, so the color and texture may vary depending on the item.
Due to the nature of the material, fraying may occur near seams, and friction from use may cause the base color of the material to show through. Also, as this is an industrial material, the fabric may initially contain debris, scratches, or dirt. Lighter colors may show these more prominently. These are within the range that does not hinder use. Please be aware of this in advance.
ATTENTION!
This product cannot be machine washed. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it lightly with water.
This product does not offer a repair service. If it tears, please repair it by attaching blue sheet repair tape sold at home centers. You can replace the elastic band, so please inquire.
