Supima-Cotton Oxford American-Football Shirt
It all started when we were wondering what to do with the popular printed T-shirts from our pop-up.
It's hard to find a perfect base T-shirt, and even if you do, it's expensive, and T-shirts are pretty hot in the summer anyway.
So we thought,
"Why don't we try making our own?"
And then we thought,
"A regular crew neck T-shirt isn't cool enough. How about making it like an American football jersey?"
So we made a prototype with sheeting, and it worked out well.
Then we thought, "Instead of a cut-and-sew, let's find a cool and comfortable fabric that's actually good quality."
So we ordered fabric samples from various places and were torn between cotton-linen, but
we didn't want to look too much like nature-lovers.
It's a bit pricey, but we decided on an Oxford fabric that looks good even when washed and wrinkled, and that adults can wear properly.
We remade the slits on both sides many times until we found a way to make them neat and durable, and this is it.
Since it's an alternative to a printed T-shirt, we initially intended to use stencil printing,
but we thought it would be better than being too flashy, so the graphics are stitched on.
It's a pain in the neck, but it looks way cooler.
The fabric is really good. It's smooth and cool. And it's not see-through, which is great.

For fabric products, the fabric is washed once to naturally shrink it, then cut and sewn. The finished product is then washed again and naturally dried to soften it and create a worn-in feel before delivery.
Due to fabric shrinkage and washing wrinkles, you may feel that it "looks wrinkled like a used item even though it's new." The wrinkles will naturally smooth out as you use it. Thank you for your understanding.
For washing, we use laundry soap and natural drying without fabric softener to be environmentally friendly.
