A lightweight, foldable, slightly water-resistant tote bag made from "Tarpee sheets" (commonly known as blue sheets).
Tarpee sheets are strong against water and dirt, as they are used for curing at construction sites and as rain covers during disasters.
We use this material to create a gusseted tote bag that can be used on dirty ground at campsites, in snowy mountains, or on beaches, by making the gusset without seams at the bottom. However, some moisture may enter through the side seams, so we describe it as "slightly water-resistant."
The elastic cord on the loop is convenient for folding. This greatly expands its uses, from leisure activities like camping, beaches, and snowy mountains, to eco-bags for grocery shopping and seafood, and even for going out on rainy days or for location shoots... you might not need any other tote bags.
When you put a lot of items in, you can hook the folding elastic onto the button in the center front to keep the opening closed. The buttons are from Swedish military tents, so their color and texture may vary.
Due to the nature of the material, fraying may occur near the seams, and the base color of the material may show through due to friction from use. Also, as it is an industrial material, there may be debris, scratches, or dirt in the fabric from the beginning. Lighter colors may show these more prominently. This is within the range that does not affect use. Please be aware of this in advance.
ATTENTION!
This product cannot be washed in a washing machine. If it gets dirty, wipe it with water or rinse it lightly with water.
This product does not offer a repair service, so if it tears, please repair it by attaching a blue sheet repair tape sold at home centers. Elastic replacement is possible, so please contact us.
