A lightweight and foldable, somewhat waterproof tote bag made from tarpaulin sheet (commonly known as blue sheet).
Tarpaulin sheets are resistant to water and dirt, as they are used for curing at construction sites and as rain shelters during disasters.
We use this material to create a gusseted tote bag without seams at the bottom, making it suitable for use on dirty ground at campsites, in snowy mountains, or at the beach. However, some moisture may enter through the side seams, so we call it "somewhat waterproof."
The elastic cord on the loop is convenient for folding. This greatly expands its uses, from leisure activities like camping, beach trips, and snowy mountains, to eco-bag use for grocery shopping and seafood, as well as outings on rainy days, location shoots, and more... you might not need any other tote bag.
When you have a lot of luggage, you can hook the folding elastic band onto the button in the center front to keep the opening closed. The buttons are from a Swedish military tent, so their color and texture may vary.
Due to the nature of the material, fraying may occur near seams, and the underlying color of the material may show through due to friction from use. Also, as this is an industrial material, there may be debris mixed in, scratches, or dirt on the fabric from the beginning. Lighter colors may show these more prominently. These are within a range that does not hinder use. Please be aware of this beforehand.
ATTENTION!
This product cannot be washed in a washing machine. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it lightly with water.
This product does not have a repair service, so if it tears, please repair it by attaching blue sheet repair tape sold at home centers. The elastic band can be replaced, so please inquire.
