A slightly waterproof, lightweight tote bag made from tarpaulin sheets (commonly known as blue sheets).
Tarpaulin sheets are resistant to water and dirt, as they are used for protection at construction sites and as rain covers during disasters.
We used this to create a gusseted tote bag that can be used on dirty ground at campsites, in snowy mountains, or on beaches, by creating a gusset with no seams at the bottom. However, some water may penetrate through the side seams, so we call it "slightly waterproof."
The elastic cord on the loop allows you to hook the cord to the button in the center front to keep the opening closed when you have a lot of luggage. The buttons were originally attached to Swedish army tents, so their color and texture may vary.
Due to the nature of the material, fraying may occur near seams, and the underlying color of the material may show through due to friction during use. Also, since it is an industrial material, the fabric may have dirt mixed in or have scratches and stains from the beginning. Lighter colors may show these more prominently. This is within the range that does not hinder use. Please be aware of this in advance.
ATTENTION！
This product cannot be machine washed. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth or lightly rinse it with water.
This product does not offer a repair service, so if it tears, please repair it by applying blue sheet repair tape sold at home centers. We can replace the elastic, so please inquire.
