It all started with the question, "What should we do this time with the popular printed T-shirts from the pop-up store?"
It's hard to find a perfect base T-shirt, and even if you do, it's expensive. Plus, T-shirts can get pretty hot in the summer, right?
So we thought,
"Why don't we try making our own?"
And then we realized,
"A regular crew-neck T-shirt isn't cool enough. How about making it like an American football jersey?"
So we made a prototype out of calico, and it worked out well.
Then we thought, "Instead of cut-and-sew, let's find a cool and comfortable fabric that's really good."
We ordered fabric samples from various places and debated with cotton-linen, but
We didn't want to seem too naturalistic,
So even though it's a bit pricey, we decided on an Oxford fabric that looks neat even when washed and rumpled, and that adults can wear properly.
We remade the side slits many times until we found a way to make them look neat and durable, and this is it.
Since it's a substitute for a printed T-shirt, we initially intended to use stencil prints,
But we decided it would be better than being too flashy, so we added graphics with stitching.
It's a lot of work, but it looks much cooler this way, doesn't it?
The fabric is really excellent. It's smooth and cool. It's also opaque, which is great.

Fabric products are cut and sewn after being washed once to naturally shrink the fabric, and then the finished products are washed again and air-dried to allow them to settle and develop a natural texture before delivery.
Due to fabric shrinkage and washing wrinkles, you might feel like it's "new but wrinkled and looks like a used item." These wrinkles will naturally smooth out and blend in with use. Thank you for your understanding.
For environmental considerations, we wash with laundry soap and air dry, without using fabric softener.
