A lightweight, foldable, and "slightly waterproof" tote bag made from Tarpee sheets (commonly known as blue tarps).
Tarpee sheets are resistant to water and dirt, which is why they are used for construction site protection and as rain covers during disasters.
We use a manufacturing method that avoids seams at the bottom to create a gusset, resulting in a bag that can be used on dirty ground like campsites, snowy mountains, or beaches. However, some moisture can enter through the side seams, so we describe it as "slightly waterproof."
The elastic cord on the loop is convenient for folding the bag. This greatly expands its utility—from leisure activities like camping, beach trips, and snowy mountain excursions, to using it as an eco-bag for grocery or seafood shopping, or for outings on rainy days... you might not need any other tote bag.
When the bag is full, you can hook the folding elastic cord onto the button at the center front to keep the opening closed. The buttons are salvaged from Swedish military tents, so the color and texture may vary from item to item.
Due to the nature of the material, the areas near the seams may fray, and the base color of the material may show through due to friction from use. Also, as this is an industrial material, there may be debris, scratches, or stains on the fabric from the start. These may be more noticeable on lighter colors. Please note that this is within the range that does not interfere with usage.
ATTENTION!
This product cannot be machine-washed. If it gets dirty, wipe it down with a damp cloth or wash it lightly by hand with water.
We do not offer a repair service for this product; if it tears, please repair it using blue tarp repair tape available at hardware stores. The elastic cord can be replaced, so please contact us.
