This is a lightweight, foldable, and slightly waterproof tote bag made from tarpaulin sheets (commonly known as blue sheets).
Tarpaulin sheets are water and dirt resistant, as they are used for covering construction sites and as rain covers during disasters.
We use this material to create a gusseted tote bag with no seams at the bottom, making it suitable for use on dirty ground at campsites, in snowy mountains, or on beaches. However, a small amount of water may seep in through the side seams, so we call it "slightly waterproof."
The elastic cord on the loop is convenient for folding. This greatly expands its uses, from leisure activities like camping, beach trips, and snowy mountains, to eco-bag use for supermarkets and seafood shopping, and even outings on rainy days or for location shoots... You might not need any other tote bag.
When you put a lot of luggage in, you can hook the elastic cord for folding onto the button in the center front to keep the opening closed. The buttons are from Swedish military tents, so their color and texture may vary.
Due to the nature of the material, fraying may occur near seams, and the underlying color of the material may show through due to friction from use. Also, as it is an industrial material, there may be debris, scratches, or dirt in the fabric from the beginning. Lighter colors may show these more prominently. This is within the range that does not hinder use. Please be aware of this in advance.
ATTENTION!
This product cannot be washed in a washing machine. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it lightly with water.
This product does not offer a repair service, so if it tears, please repair it by applying blue sheet repair tape sold at home centers. Elastic cord replacement is possible, so please inquire.
