POIRE has been redesigned for 2023. All bags are made from No. 11 canvas, making them lighter and with an inner pocket. And now we've added a mini size!
This single-shoulder tote has one pocket on the outside and two on the inside, and can be closed with the buckle on the inside to create a pear-shaped opening.
A mother holding a small child can quickly and easily open a tote bag with one action. In order to carry the bag over the shoulder, the bag needed to have only one handle, and after much trial and error, the single shoulder tote was created. When a buckle was added to narrow the opening to prevent the contents from spilling, it took on a strange pear-shaped form.
The bag is designed so that when worn over the shoulder, the outer pocket is on the front side, away from the body, so you can choose to wear it on either the right or left shoulder.

For canvas products, the canvas fabric is washed once to allow it to shrink naturally before being cut and sewn. The finished product is then washed again and air-dried to allow it to blend in and give it a crease before being delivered.
Due to shrinkage of the material and wrinkles from washing, you may feel that the item is brand new but wrinkled and looks like a used item. The wrinkles will naturally disappear as you use the item. Thank you for your understanding.
In order to be environmentally conscious, we do not use fabric softeners when washing, but instead wash with a small amount of laundry soap and air dry.
