A lightweight, foldable, slightly waterproof tote bag made from tarpaulin sheet (commonly known as a blue sheet).
Tarpaulin sheet is highly resistant to water and dirt, so it is used for protecting construction sites and as rain cover during disasters.
We used this material to create a gusseted tote bag that can be used on dirty ground at campsites, snowy mountains, and beaches, using a method that creates the gusset without seams at the bottom. However, some moisture may enter through the side seams, so it is described as "slightly waterproof".
The elastic cord attached to the loop is convenient when folding it up. This greatly expands its uses, from leisure activities such as camping, going to the beach, and heading to snowy mountains, to using it as an eco-bag for supermarkets and purchasing seafood, and even for going out on rainy days, filming locations, and more... you may not need another tote bag.
When carrying a lot of luggage, you can hook the folding elastic cord onto the button in the center of the front to keep the opening closed. The buttons are from Swedish military tents, so their color and texture vary depending on the item.
Due to the characteristics of the material, the area around the seams may become frayed, or the base color of the material may show through due to friction during use. Also, as these are industrial materials, there may be dirt, scratches, or stains on the fabric from the beginning. Lighter colors may be more noticeable. This is within the range that does not affect use. Please understand this in advance.
ATTENTION!
This product cannot be machine washed. If it gets dirty, wipe it with water or wash it lightly with water.
This product does not offer a repair service, so if it tears, please repair it by applying repair tape for blue sheets sold at home centers and other stores. We can replace the elastic, so please contact us.
