Sand from the beach can be wiped off with a simple brush, dirt from camping can be wiped off with water, and viruses can be wiped off with alcohol, making a pouch the ultimate convenience in this day and age.
The material is the same industrial material used for factory roofs and truck seats. It's really heavy duty. You may have had to choose between "cool" and "convenience" up until now, but that's no longer necessary.

A slightly waterproof pouch made from vinyl tent material.
Vinyl tent material is highly resistant to water and dirt.
We used this to create a gusset at the bottom with a seamless manufacturing method, and made a gusseted tote bag that can be used on dirty ground such as campsites, snowy mountains, and beaches. However, some water can get in through the side seams, so we call it "slightly waterproof."
