Washing fabric products

Starting today, we are making some changes to the stamp content on the brand tags attached to the inside of our cloth bags.

Tote bags are not required to have washing instructions, but...
In Japan and other parts of East Asia, the air is not as dry as in the West, making it easy for bacteria to grow. If dirt, mud, food spills, sweat, etc. are left on the surface, bacteria will grow, damaging the fabric and causing mold and unpleasant odors.
Almost all JETMINMIN cloth bags can be washed in the washing machine. You can wash them inside out, in a laundry bag, or however you like. We use liquid detergent, but you can also add an appropriate amount of fragrance-free commercial detergent and wash them in the washing machine without using bleach or fabric softener.
Once dehydration is complete, dry in the shade as soon as possible. Please note that exposure to direct sunlight may cause discoloration or fading.
Some items contain plastic parts and rubber, so we do not recommend using a dryer.
When ironing, please use a pressing cloth and set the temperature as low as possible.
Dry cleaning is also not recommended, as some dry cleaners do sloppy work.
It's not realistic to use tote bags gently and carefully, and the fabric will eventually wear out and they will no longer be usable, but if you want to use them for as long as possible, the only way we can extend their lifespan is to wash them frequently.

I hope that every time you see this tag you will be reminded that JETMINMIN told you to wash your bag.

⚠️ Almost all of JETMINMIN's fabric bags are made to be fully washable in a home washing machine, but other companies' products may use materials that cannot be washed at home, such as leather or wool, or washing may damage the core material, causing the bag to deform, fray the threads, or cause other problems. If there is no indication of washing instructions, please contact the manufacturer and check for yourself.
