Shipping outside of Japan and customs duties

JETMINMIN also ships outside of Japan.
Depending on the country, customs duties and taxes may apply. We will inform you of the latest handling rules.

Possible costs incurred upon receipt

  1. Customs Duty

    • It varies by country and product category.

    • For shipments to the US, JETMINMIN supports "DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)".

      • Customs duties are automatically calculated on the online shop when you place an order.
        Customers do not need to pay customs duties upon receipt.

  2. Sales tax/Value added tax (VAT/GST)

    • In the EU it is around 20%, and other countries also have their own tax rates.

    • Generally, taxes are levied on the total of the product price, shipping fee, and customs duty.

  3. Other taxes

    • In some countries, environmental taxes and packaging taxes may apply.

  • Customs duties: Automatically calculated at time of order (DDP)

  • Payment upon receipt: No

  • VAT: None

Europe (EU)

  • Customs duty: about 2-5%

  • VAT: Approximately 20% (varies by country)

  • It varies by country.

  • In Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, and other countries, bags are almost duty-free.

  • Duties and taxes may be incurred separately from the product price and shipping fee (excluding US shipping, which is DDP).

  • The latest tax rates and regulations may change depending on the country and timing. Please check with the customs office of each country.

    • For shipments to the United States, JETMINMIN now uses DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).

      • Customs duties are automatically calculated at checkout.

      • No payment is required upon delivery.

  2. VAT / GST (Value Added Tax / Goods & Services Tax)

    • EU VAT is typically around 20%. Other regions have their own tax systems.

    • Usually applied to the total of product price + shipping + duty.

  3. Other Taxes

    • Some countries may charge environmental or packaging-related taxes.
