Shipping outside of Japan and customs duties

JETMINMIN also ships outside of Japan.
Depending on your country, duties and taxes may apply, which will need to be paid when you receive your package.

Possible costs incurred upon receipt:

1. Customs Duty

   • Varies by country and product category.

   • For example, American bags are made of approximately 7.5% synthetic leather and 16% fabric.

2. Consumption tax/value-added tax (VAT, GST, etc.)

   • In the EU, VAT (approximately 20%) may apply, and in Australia and Canada, GST may apply.

   • It will be added to the total price of the product, shipping fee and customs duty.

3. Other taxes

   • Depending on the country, "environmental taxes" or "packaging taxes" may be imposed.

Depending on the destination country, customs duties and taxes may apply. Any applicable fees must be paid upon delivery.

   • Example (USA): Leather bags approx. 3.9%, Synthetic leather approx. 7.5%, Fabric approx. 16%.

2. VAT / GST (Value Added Tax / Goods & Services Tax)

   • In the EU, VAT is usually around 20%. Australia, Canada, and other countries may have GST.

   • Calculated on the total of product price + shipping + customs duty.

3. Other Taxes

   • Some countries may charge environmental or packaging taxes.
