Amsterdam people are just so cool. The bike shops only sell bikes that look like Japanese mamachari but are more classical and sturdy, and everyone customizes them. Men and women of all ages. I hardly ever see drop handlebars. They're racing down the bike lanes on those heavy bikes.
The crossbody bags aren't like messenger bags, but more for town use; they're all different but roughly the same size and crossbody.
There is no one running around lazily like Japanese high school students.
I wanted to make a simple crossbody bag like the ones the Dutch people use, not a messenger bag or a stylish bag, but an ordinary bag, so I tried various things, and I feel like I've finally put it together.
The combination of durable vinyl tent fabric used for store awnings and truck covers, and seat belts made in Hamamatsu, is perfect for rainy Japan. It looks a bit like Freitag, but it's a completely different shape from a messenger bag, so it's for people who just want to enjoy a fun ride or who use a bike to commute, and are not road racers.

Vinyl tent material is water and dirt resistant.
We used this to create a gusset at the bottom with a seamless manufacturing method, making a bag with a gusset that can be used on dirty ground, snowy mountains, and beaches. However, some water can get in through the seams on the sides, so we call it "slightly waterproof."
