A tote bag for road trips
JETMINMIN has always offered gender-neutral items, but this tote is somewhat masculine.
It's a fact that there are clear differences between men and women, both in terms of inner masculinity and outer appearance (muscle structure and body type). And when it comes to styling, men's bags are a little different from women's. There's a reason I'm explaining this in such detail: in an era that requires careful consideration, I want to make it easier to say the names I'm about to mention.
Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, De Niro, and Pacino don't carry shoulder totes. In their movies, they almost always carry well-worn leather boston bags with short handles, gripping them with their large fists. Boston bags are horizontal, and they suit their cool silhouettes perfectly.
I've tried to create such cool bags many times, but none of them turned out well, so they all ended up being scrapped.
JETMINMIN has a tote bag called "BALLOOON!" and the 65cm wide version is quite large, almost difficult to carry if packed to the brim.
Too big can be inconvenient, and if a couple is traveling by car, a slightly smaller size might be better.
So, we started developing "BALLOOON!-65-LO," a version of the regular 65-size that is 10cm lower. And then, as I was drawing the pattern, I realized something. This might actually be a substitute for the cool boston bag I've always wanted to make.
Gene Hackman might not carry this, but Serge Gainsbourg might. Alain Delon might, and Ewan McGregor might too. It's just a slightly different kind of cool.
I, who also admire cool men, want to use this. When checking in at a hotel lobby, I want to casually drop it on the floor with a "thud."
It would also look good to carry it out to the parking lot and place it with a "thud" in the trunk of a sedan.
More importantly, I want to travel slowly. It would be nice to fly to Kyushu, rent a car, and drive around the entire island.

Made with a body of 12.7 oz hickory denim from Okayama and 13.5 oz organic cotton denim from Okayama. HICKORY-A has a white zipper. If you prefer a black zipper, please let us know when ordering. Due to the characteristics of hickory fabric, the binding of the opening is rolled to the back, opposite to canvas, so JETMINMIN's woven label, usually attached to the opening, will be attached to the side rib.

Canvas products are cut and sewn after the canvas fabric is washed once and naturally shrunk. The finished products are then washed and naturally dried again to soften them and create a worn-in feel before delivery.
Due to fabric shrinkage and washing wrinkles, you might feel that "it's new, but it looks wrinkled like a used item." The wrinkles will naturally smooth out with use. Thank you for your understanding.
For washing, we do not use fabric softeners to be environmentally friendly. We use a small amount of laundry soap and natural drying.
■REPAIR SERVICE
No matter how sturdily a product is made, long-term use can cause the fabric to wear out, or pets may play with it, or it may snag on something and tear or develop holes, making it unusable. We offer a paid repair service for fabric products to help you use them for as long as possible while you love them. If you send us images of the damaged part by email, we will provide a repair estimate. (Excludes some products / We may decline repairs depending on the extent of the damage or if the fabric has reached the end of its life.)
■WASH! WASH!
Fabric products need washing. Dirt that you don't usually notice can absorb sweat and moisture, allowing bacteria to multiply and adversely affect the fibers. Weakened fabric can easily tear or develop holes if it rubs against something or snags. To ensure products last as long as possible, regular washing and not using the same product every day (e.g., rotating several items) are important.
All JETMINMIN fabric products can be washed at home. When washing, use laundry detergent, hand wash, or if using a washing machine, place in a net and rinse thoroughly. Fabric tends to retain odors once they set in, so please avoid using scented fabric softeners. Using hot water or a dryer can cause the fabric to shrink, so always use cold or lukewarm water. *Colors may bleed, so wash with similar colors or separately from other items.
