A lightweight, foldable, slightly waterproof tote bag made from tarpaulin (commonly known as a blue sheet).
Tarpaulin is strong against water and dirt, as it is used for curing at construction sites and as rain protection during disasters.
We used this to create a gusseted tote bag that can be used on dirty ground at campsites, in snowy mountains, or on beaches, by making the gusset without seams at the bottom. However, since some water may enter through the side seams, we refer to it as "slightly waterproof."
The elastic cord attached to the loop is convenient for folding. This greatly expands its uses, from leisure activities like camping, beach trips, and snowy mountains to being an eco-bag for supermarkets and seafood shopping, as well as for going out on rainy days or for location shoots... you might not need any other tote bag anymore.
When you have a lot of luggage, you can hook the elastic cord for folding onto the button in the middle of the front to prevent the opening from coming open. The buttons are from Swedish military tents, so the color and texture may vary depending on the item.
Due to the nature of the material, fraying may occur near seams, and the base color of the material may show through due to friction from use. Also, as this is an industrial material, there may be dust mixed in, scratches, or dirt on the fabric from the start. Lighter colors may show these more prominently. This is within the range of normal use. Please be aware of this beforehand.
ATTENTION!
This product cannot be washed in a washing machine. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a wet cloth or wash it lightly with water.
This product does not offer a repair service. If it tears, please repair it by applying blue sheet repair tape sold at hardware stores. Replacement elastic cords are available; please inquire.
