A lightweight, foldable, somewhat waterproof tote bag made from Tarpee sheet (commonly known as blue sheet).
Tarpee sheets have properties that are strong against water and dirt, as they are used for curing at construction sites and as rain shelters during disasters.
We used this to create a gusseted tote bag with no seams at the bottom, which can be used on dirty ground at campsites, in snowy mountains, or on beaches. However, some water may penetrate through the side seams, so we call it "somewhat waterproof."
The elastic cord on the loop is convenient for folding. This greatly expands its uses, from leisure activities like camping, beaches, and snowy mountains, to eco-bag use for supermarkets and seafood shopping, to outings on rainy days and location shoots... you might not need any other tote bag.
When you put a lot of luggage in it, you can hook the folding elastic band to the button in the middle of the front to prevent the opening from coming undone. The buttons are from Swedish army tents, so their color and texture may vary.
Due to the nature of the material, fraying may occur near the seams, and the base color of the material may show through due to friction from use. Also, as it is an industrial material, there may be debris mixed in, or scratches and dirt on the fabric from the beginning. Lighter colors may be more noticeable. This is within the range that does not hinder use. Please be aware of this in advance.
ATTENTION！
This product cannot be machine washed. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth or lightly rinse it with water.
This product does not offer repair services, so if it tears, please repair it by attaching blue sheet repair tape sold at home centers. We can replace the elastic band, so please inquire.
